The Scriba Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for new members. We have many different classifications to accommodate many different people.

We would be more than happy to meet with you and discuss your options as a potential member of the Scriba Volunteer Fire Department. Feel free to come out on any Drill Night to learn more, Drill nights are Tuesdays starting at 7pm

We are your neighbors, friends, co-workers and are here to offer our services. Husbands, wives, college students, men and women all volunteer their services. The satisfaction you get from helping a person in need is amazing. All training and equipment needed for the tasks is provided to you free of charge. The department covers all the expenses related to being a member. You will meet new people, make new friends and learn a tradition that is second to none. You will learn skills that could save a life !
