Welcome to Scriba Volunteer Fire Company Inc.

The Scriba Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. is an all volunteer fire department located in Upstate New York. We are located in Oswego County on the southern shore of Lake Ontario about 45 minutes north of Syracuse, NY. We provide fire protection and first responder EMS at the Basic Life Support level to the residents of the Town of Scriba. In addition, our members support several of the county Special Operation teams.

Our Fire Officer Leadership consists of a Fire Chief and two Assistant Chiefs that are elected by the membership. One of the Assistant Chiefs is over Training the other handles Equipment. The remaining line officers are appointed by the Chief’s office and consist of Captains and Lieutenants as deemed necessary by the Chief’s Officer. In addition they are supported by an Engineer who assists in equipment maintenance.

Our Corporation is led by a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and three Board Members. They are elected by the membership for staggered term lengths.
